Maybe I missed that... I assumed he was looking to pay with cash. You have a decent point, though - generally, banks do not like to secure loans with cars more than 5 years old, and these days, they like unsecured loans even less. There are other options if you're looking to finance an older vehicle, though. A home equity line of credit usually comes with a low rate, and he can pay it back at his own pace as it is a revolving line. I still say that if the question is which is the better car, the Z32TT gets it (it's not like I or anyone else on here is biased :) ).
